Taylor's Vector Project

I enjoy effective art and design.
I try to provide the least amount of content with the most efficient and effective method of solving an issue. My vector image is a prime example of how the simplest of designs can solve the issue. I originally started out with having the vanishing point end at the end of a spiral hole with the letters twirling around. I realized though that it wasn't giving the visual effect of an actual vanishing point. I then had the light bulb turned on in my head, and whuh-lah, I ended up going with logic, and designed an actual vanishing point.

  1. What I like about this piece is the interesting perspective and vanishing point you used. Something I would change is the clarity of the message, I don't exactly understand what it means or what the letters are spelling.

  2. its a nice seen the road almost looks like a shadow the sun is casting. however the message is very confusing and i don't know what your saying.

  3. I like your concept. At first, I thought it was lines forming into letters but as I look closer it looks more like you were trying to convey movement. My only suggestions are: for you to push the piece further (by adding more) and to better the transition from small letters to bigger letters.

  4. This is a cool piece. I see it a text highway of sorts. I think there should be a little more to it though. Maybe some more text "stationary" as opposed to on the highway.

  5. I like the fact that you had the word vanishing, vanish into the distance. The thing I would have liked to see more of is more color or maybe more words? It just needs a little more of something.

  6. I like this one. It conveys the meaning of the word by having it do what its meaning is. At first it was difficult to tell what the letters spelled, but I thing just rotating them so they are all right side up to the viewer would be an easy fix.

  7. I like his design, the words become blur in the desert. It's really a good idea to show words' appearance, not the meanings.
