At the beginning, I tried to use Chinese words"US" to combine with this picture, but I could make those words funny, like what our posture. Then I change the words to English one, and I try to make the word"FRIEND" funny and combine with this picture. I made those six words like six funny guy and they jumping or dancing with us. I try to make the words real and combine with the picture perfectly.

This piece is very quirky and fun. I like both versions equally. What I would change is maybe choose a different font, one that is more loud and fun, to express your idea of friendship.
ReplyDeleteI like your use of a picture as a background, it gives us a visual of what the word is in real life. Your use of different colors on the letters and moving them around invokes the idea of fun and silliness just like your picture which is what friendship should be.
ReplyDeleteI like how you made letters farther behind seem smaller. Also, I think I like the one in color better because the letters you used have colors that might accent colors in the background as opposed to a black and white.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really fun piece and reminds me of my friends and I. I like the word you chose as well as the fonts. As for which one is better (they are both good) I like the black and white better just because the "I" in friends gets lost in the color version. You might try to use a different color in the "I" as well so that it works just as well in both versions.
ReplyDeleteI like the subject matter in this piece. I personally would choose the color piece because the colors look more vibrant. I think it would have been great, in black and white, if you would have vectored the photo itself and that is my only suggestion.
