Taylor's Vector Project

I have always been a fan of John Steinbeck and I am looking to recreate the cover to East of Eden. I have always claimed it to be my favorite, or one of, book since the day I turned the final page. It has a way of developing each character to a point of knowing their next step. There is even a sense of feeling for them, even though their scenarios are situations the vast majority of us have not, nor will not ever experience  Great book!

As for how I go about it? I know I will have a Eden-like garden or vegetation that'll be in the base of a mountain. I want the sun to be setting to help with providing a warm glow to the image. To show that the time frames is dated, I will be sure to only include animals, windmill, and non-painted wooden homes.
