For my book, I was thinking of having the book cover relate to the album cover of one of my favorite bands. One of their songs titled "Daisy" has stuck with me through a big chunk of my life and I feel like I can really relate to it. In the song, the lead singer is attempting to define himself, much like I am trying to define myself with this book cover. The album is also titled "Daisy" and the cover is directly related to nature and has a  rabid fox on the front. The fox is a symbolism of adaptability and passion but it is also rabid which symbolizes chaos. I am going to attempt to recreate the album cover art and have it as my book cover. I took pictures this weekend, and instead of the green lush background I used the typical Arizona landscape. The pictures were fairly decent but I am going to be around the flagstaff area over fall break so I think I am going to find more lush trees and try to better mimic the background. I was thinking I could be in place of the fox or photoshop a different animal in that better relates to me. I think the book will focus around how I got to Arizona and the struggle of breaking my families habit of sticking around the Kansas City area.
I was brainstorming ideas for the title and the one that I liked the best was "Shooting Daisies"
