My concept for good ol' Justin Bieber is to show how ridiculous and artificial he is to society. He is far too glamorized when in the end he is no different from anyone else. I felt the best way to display this is to combine two polar-opposite environments/settings into one. On top of the ridiculous combination Bieber is unable to fully come to grips with his sexual identity. He has seemed to neglect his famous junior high school male sex symbol and tried to upgrade to a collegiate level female sex symbol, while combining qualities of both. To complete the image I have people of varying demographics and age brackets admiring this newly discovered trani.
The process of bringing the concept together began with looking for props to support a beach lifeguard theme. I then wanted to find an image with skiers and a ski slope with an open area for manipulating the environment. The insanity took off from there. This is one of the first photomontage images I have designed via Photoshop and certainly containing the most layers. It was a great experience refreshing and even expanding my knowledge of layer usage with a fairly large amount of images. Justin Bieber and his indecisive transvestite tendencies and the life guard building contained the most work due to combining multiple layers, filters and paint touch-ups.
