For my project I decided to go to this bridge at Tempe Town Lake which I used to cross all the time last year when I lived nearby. It was a quiet, relaxing place for me, where I could go on walks at night and de-stress. I really like the lighting on the bridge, so I thought I would play with that. I used my friend, in a suit, as a model to walk down, and combined the 6 different layers and changed the opacity of each to kind of capture his movement. I played a little with the lighting to change the color and mood of the picture, and used the "wind" and "motion blur" tools to get a more eerie feel. I was going to do a black and white, but I decided to keep some hints of color from the bridge, to capture the highlights.
This definitely almost looks like the image is moving, great job. I'm glad you kept the color because it gives more context to what the image is.

ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying this image. The fact that you can see the shape of the man in two different places really shows the illusion of time. This was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI like the spooky look you have created with the lighting toned down the only thing that bugs me is the closest image of him is to dark it almost blocks out the other images of him.
ReplyDeleteThis image is psychedelic, it is very interesting to look at and I love that you did it at night because the colors are really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the blur light of it, that makes me feel mysterious about the major of this picture. It's hard to control the ISO of camera during the night, but you did a great job.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool idea but I wish it wasn't quite so blurry. I like how the images sit together and how well they flow with each other.
